Abstract
The physician-author of this book takes a sweeping look at the principal endeavors of today's society. The writer comments on the manifest evils in current practices in education, medicine, religion, conformity, et cetera, with few specific antidotes proffered. No one will argue with Dr. Bauer's conclusions, but, with every publication already a critique on human behavior, the reader will question the merit for yet one more. Indeed, when one sentence in the summary reads, It seems unnecessary to elaborate in detail on the treatment and prevention of psychopathologic manifestations of human society, the reader can only wonder if this book is unnecessary as well.
