Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of eroticism in the texts of medieval mystics (St. Umilta, St. Francis, Hadewijch of Antwerp, Julian of Norwich). The connection between late medieval mysticism and John Lennon’s and Freddie Mercury’s lyrics is investigated.
