Abstract

Love, respect and trust have vital importance for the development of human personality. They are also prerequisites and ontological keystones for the development of moral and virtuous personality. However, love, respect and trust reach their original meaning and nature as a whole due to their ontological ties. In the event that their integrity is broken, they lose all their meaning. Since education is the name of the process of gaining a virtuous personality, love, respect and trust are naturally the ontological keystones of education and all educational researches, and they have a wealthy importance in these studies. It is a great lack of scientific studies on the role and importance of love, respect and trust in education, although they should form the basis of these researches and guide them. The aim of this literature review is to discuss the pattern between love, respect and trust and a new model that reveals the role and importance of that pattern in the education process as a virtuous personality development. In this study, it is aimed to draw attention to the educational researches needed to include these phenomena and concepts among the basic concepts of education and to inspire new researches in this field which has not been studied at all.
