Abstract

The Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped oxyfluoride silicate glass ceramics were prepared.The fluorescence spectrum and absorption spectrum were characterized.The up conversion spectrum showed that there were four luminescence centres at red(645 nm),green(545,522 nm) and blue(480 nm),corresponding to the 4F9/2→4I15/2,4S3/2→4I15/2,2H11/2→4I15/2,4F7/2→4I15/2 transitions of Er3+.The slope of fitted lines was 1.81,2.39,1.95,2.15,respectively,which indicated a two-photon absorption process.The results showed that the samples lowered phonon energy and greatly improved the up-conversion efficiency by heat treatment.Judd-Ofelt theory was employed and the intensity parameters were obtained.
