Abstract

As large size RDF data (Resource Description Framework) emerges, managing it is becoming much more important. Most of the existing methods are complex, and inefficient. In order to easily manipulate the database, we propose a new RDFS (RDF Schema) storing strategy based on relational database. In this paper, we distinguish between schema information and instance data, and handle independent RDF schema information using labeling scheme for class and property information respectively. Since RDFS defines relationship among RDF elements, we describe an Entity-relationship (E-R) diagram to create corresponding table structure for RDF data by transforming schema information, then store RDF data into distinct relation tables. With the proposed method the search is more efficiently handled by making distinction between schema information and instance data.
