Abstract
In this paper, an accurate equivalent circuit model is presented for a triple frequency rejection band UWB antenna that provides the desired frequency rejection function at center frequencies of 2.92 GHz, 4.06 GHz and 5.28 GHz. The extraction of the equivalent circuit model of the presented antenna mainly depends on the impedance characteristic of electromagnetic (EM) simulation. The equivalent circuit model consists of lumped elements which are optimized based on the ADS simulation. The equivalent circuit model simulation is compared with EM simulation, indicating that an excellent agreement is achieved.
