Abstract

The comparison of McReynolds constants indicates that polymeric adsorbent Separon BD (a copolymer of divinylbenzene and butylmethacrylate) is almost equivalent to conventional nonpolar polydimethylsiloxane phases in chromatographic polarity. Therefore, analytes can be identified by retention indices on this adsorbent and the comparison of these values with the reference data for polydimethylsiloxane phases.
