Equivalence Between Soft Theorem and Asymptotic Symmetry

Abstract

AbstractWe first review the derivation of the equivalence between the leading soft photon theorem and the asymptotic symmetry. We show the equivalence in a covariant manner without choosing specific angular coordinates. We then proceed to the case of the subleading order and show that the subleading soft photon theorem are also equivalent to a conservation of charges related to the asymptotic symmetry.
