Abstract

Fungal keratitis is a common, devastating complication of equine corneal ulceration. Early recognition is of paramount importance. The ocular manifestations, clinical diagnosis and treatment of fungal keratitis are discussed. Five cases of fungal keratitis are reviewed. Current methods of medical and surgical therapy are examined.
