Abstract
The metal-ligand equilibrium reactions involving palladium(II), cadmium(II) and 1,2-dihydroxybenzene, 1-amino-2-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid, 8-amino-1-naphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid, o-aminophenol and 4,5-dihydroxybenzene-1,3-disulfonic acid have been studied in solution at 25 and at ionic strength of 0.10 M (KNO 3 ). Formation of the binary, ternary and hydroxo complex species has been inferred in solution and the corresponding equilibrium constants have been evaluated and discussed.
