Abstract

This paper will present a n umber of thermodynamic properties for air in chemical equilibrium at high temperatures. Specifically the temperature range of interest will be from 300 to 30,000 K. The pressure range covered will be from 10 Pa to 101,325 Pa. The emphasis will be on the l ower pressure range. The first properties presented in this paper will be the equilibrium composition presented in terms of the particle number densities. The thermodynamic properties determined will be the constant pressure specific heat, specific interna l energy, specific enthalpy, and specific
