Abstract
Abstract Equilibrium positron decay rates in helium gas have been computed over a wide range of temperatures and electric fields based on the model due to McEachran et al. [7]. Agreement between the theoretical and experimental values of the decay rate at room temperature and zero electric field is quite good.
