Abstract

The concentration of several proteins was determined simultaneously in pleural transudates and serum obtained from patients with congestive cardiac failure. The distribution of proteins was appropriate for molecular sieving through pores with mean radius 15–18 nm, and for a transcobalamin 2 molecule with molecule radius smaller than albumin.
