Abstract

The semiempirical quasiharmonical equation of state (EOS) model is constructed to describe the thermodynamical properties of metals in a broad region of parameters: 0.03≤ρ/ρ0≤100; 0<T<106 K. The model accounts for cold curve (T=0 K) part, thermal unharmonic vibrations of nuclears, and thermal excitations of electrons. The EOS are constructed for twenty seven metals. The presented results are compared with available experimental data obtained in statical and dynamical experiments.
