Abstract

Statistical associating fluid theory-dimer (SAFT-D) and monomer–dimer mixture theory equations of state of linear homonuclear chain are extended to fluids containing alternating heteronuclear chain molecules separately. The proposed models account for the appropriate site–site correlation functions at contact. The modified equations of state show a good agreement with generalized Flory dimer theory and MD simulation data for small and medium size ratio of hard sphere diameters.
