Abstract

In this letter, a new configuration consisting of parallel coupled lines and nonuniform transmission lines is used to study band-pass filters. Using a combination of the wavy-edge coupled-lines and ring resonators of the harmonic pass-band of the parallel-coupled line filter is rejected more effectively. A synthesis method is presented for Chebyshev Type II band-pass filters in the microwave frequency range. To validate the proposed methodology, measured, and simulation, Chebyshev Type II band-pass filters were implemented to validate this new configuration correct by measuring. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
