Abstract
Precise preparation of multinuclear bimetallic dendrimer complexes with finely-controlled compositions was investigated for template synthesis of alloy clusters by using platinum and tin. An ordered complexation behavior of metal salts in the dendrimer with imine units enabled bimetallic co-accumulations in a dendrimer template while combinations of metal salts with various acidity achieved the formation of 27 patterns of complexes. This fine-tuning technique of compositions in the dendrimer complexes leads to precise synthesis of alloy clusters covering wider range of composition.
