Abstract

Objectives: Excess nutritional losses means that a high-energy, fat and salt diet has been recommended for people with cystic fibrosis (CF). It is unknown whether nutritional intake is shifting in response to recent increases in body mass index (BMI) and reduced sweat chloride, following triple CFTR modulator therapy. We assessed changes in BMI, energy, fat and sodium intake with triple therapy.
