Abstract
Oxygen deficient La 0.5Gd 0.5Ba 2Cu 3O 6+χ has been studied by EPR spectroscopy. The temperature dependence of EPR spectrum reveals the presence of sustained magnetic ordering of the Gd 3+ sublattice and localized paramagnetic centers corresponding to copper-oxygen clusters.
