Abstract

Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurements of the Kagome lattice antiferromagnet SrCr 8Ga 4O 19 have been performed in the submillimeter wave region using a pulsed magnetic field up to 16T. Although it is difficult to observe the EPR in the low temperature region by X-band EPR due to its very broad line width, we succeeded in observing its EPR from 283 to 1.8K for the first time. The broadening of the EPR and the shift of the resonance field have been observed as the temperature is decreased. These temperature dependences will be discussed in connection with the frustration and the results of the other measurements of SrCr 8Ga 4O 19.
