Abstract

Copper centers in KTaO3:Cu single crystals were studied by Electron Paramagnetic Resonance. We evidenced two types of single Cu2+ centers and one exchange-coupled Cu2+-Cu2+ pair centre. The spectra of pair centers show tetragonal symmetry and the exchange interaction in the pairs is ferromagnetic (S=1).
