Abstract
AbstractIn single crystals of CaMoO4 a Mo5+ centre is investigated. The g‐tensor values are gx = 1.973, gy = 1.946, and gz = 1.845. Using the g‐values and results of optical measurements the ground state is derived and a centre model is suggested. The temperature‐dependent line broadening is caused by spin—lattice relaxation which is determined by a pseudolocal mode.
