Abstract
The EPR spectra have been studied for samples containing various amounts of CeO2 in NaPO3. Hyperfine structure with g∥ = 2.01 and g⊥ = 1.99 is found at a concentration of 50 mole% CeO2. Fluorescence and phosphorescence have been studied in samples containing various amounts of CeO2 in NaPO3. The spectral composition of the fluorescence and phosphorescence depend on the CeO2 concentration in the alloy, on the annealing temperature, and the duration of annealing at 1100 and 1400 °C.
