Abstract

Epithelioid sarcoma (ES) is a rare malignant soft tissue tumor f unknown histogenesis first described by Laskowski [1] and later haracterizedbyEnzinger andWeiss [2]. The tumor typically affects dolescents and young adults aged 10–35 years and arise as supercial nodules in the distal extremities. Involvement of a deep nerve s exceedingly rare; thus far there is only one reported case of ES rising from the sciatic nerve [3]. Herewe report a case of ES arising n the tibial portion of the sciatic nerve.
