We report two cases of chronic skin ulcers that were misdiagnosed as skin and soft tissue infections and inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor before the final diagnosis of epithelioid sarcoma at our institution. We believe that our coverage of this rare but fatal tumor that can cause chronic skin ulcers is critical, as early diagnosis and treatment can reduce morbidity and mortality.
