Two concentrations of intra-articular positive contrast medium (60 and 76% meglu mine-sodium diatrizoate) were compared, and no difference in intra-articular detail was observed. Admixture of epinephrine resulted in an initial improvement in the sharpness of the contrast-outlined intra-articular structures as well as in the persistence of this enhanced detail on delayed radiographs.Article HistoryPublished in print: Apr 1974 FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByAmerican Journal of Roentgenology, Vol. 208, No. 3Research in Veterinary Science, Vol. 102American Journal of Roentgenology, Vol. 197, No. 6Radiologic Clinics of North America, Vol. 47, No. 4American Journal of Roentgenology, Vol. 188, No. 4Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography, Vol. 25, No. 5Clinical Radiology, Vol. 40, No. 6Journal of Veterinary Medicine Series A, Vol. 36, No. 1-10The Journal of Hand Surgery, Vol. 8, No. 1Acta Radiologica.
