Abstract

Epigenetics means heritable changes in gene expressions without alterations in DNA sequence, and mainly involves DNA methylation, histone modification and non-coding RNA regulation. Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma is a class of malignant T-cell lymphoproliferative diseases originated from the skin. Mycosis fungoides and Sezary syndrome are the most common cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Recent studies have shown that epigenetics not only plays an important role in the occurrence and development of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, but also provides insights into the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Key words: Lymphoma, T-cell, cutaneous; Epigenesis, genetic; Mycosis fungoides; Sezary syndrome; DNA methylation
