Abstract
Naive CD4 + T cells can differentiate into different effeetor cells under the stimulation of antigens in response to various environments, The specification of T helper cell subsets is controlled by the networks of lineage specific cytokines and transcription factors. In recent years, researches have showed that epigenet-ic processes such as DNA methylation, histone modifications and chromatin remodeling can regulate the ex-pression of some related genes which govern the fate and function of T helper cells. These epigenetic proces-ses also play important roles in the heritability and plasticity of T helper cell lineage. Key words: T helper cells; Differentiation; Epigenetics
