Abstract

Strains of Penicillium crustosum Thom, Pyrenophora avenae Ito & Kuribay, Cladosporium cladosporioides (Fres.) de Vries and Syncephalastrum racemosum (Cohn) Schroet. resistant to phenyl-Hg + were isolated from organo-mercury-treated oat seeds. Penicillium crustosum was found to restrict the growth of Pyrenophora avenae .
