Abstract
While varied literature exists regarding the rates of central-line associated blood steam infections (CLABSI) in intensive care units (ICUs) in pediatric facilities, data describing the occurrence of CLABSI outside the intensive care units is limited. Objectives: To describe the incidence and clinical characteristics of confirmed CLABSI cases seen outside the intensive care units at Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH).
