Abstract

Given the scenario of epidemiological outbreaks of the "triple arboviruses" Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika, the objective was to analyze notification data in comparison with the spread of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes in the municipalities of the state of Rio de Janeiro from 2015 to 2019. As a sample, the state of Rio de Janeiro, which has the third largest population in Brazil, distributed in its 92 municipalities, experienced the phenomenon of the "triple epidemic" during a period involving the three arboviruses: Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya. The research presents tabulated epidemiological data and comparative LIRAa maps of the "triple arboviruses" in the Health Regions of Rio de Janeiro. The aim of carrying out the survey in the municipalities is to provide better conditions for combating and controlling the vectors.
