Epidemiological features of legal reported infectious diseases in Pingdi town of Longgang district in Shenzhen city from 2010 to 2012

Abstract

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of legal repotted infectious diseases in Pingdi town of Longgang district,Shenzhen city from 2010 to 2012,and to provide scientific basis for effective prevention and control.Methods The data were collected to conduct descriptive epidemiological analysis.Results Total 5521 cases of infectious diseases happened in Pingdi town from 2010 to 2012,there were 1659 cases in 2010,1847 cases in 2011and 2015 cases in 2012,no A category diseases,therewere 1112 cases of B category and 4409 cases of C category,accounting for 20.14％ and 79.86％,while the infectious diseases transmitted by blood、blood products and sex accounted for 11.48％,respiratory infectious disease and intestinal disease accounted for 22.06％ and 66.40％.The rates of Hepatitis,mumps and HFMD were comparatively high.The infectious diseases mostly happened in Ping-xi,Liu-lian,Ping-dong and Zhong-xin community,and the high risk groups were children and workers.Conclusion It is necessary to strengthen the infectious disease prevention and control education to teenagers and children in nursery and lindergardens,schools and factories.
