Abstract
Cases of botulism continue to be registered annually in the Russian Federation, which creates instability in terms of epidemiology. In this article, the epidemic situation with botulism in the Russian Federation has been studied and summarized. The statistics of incidence in dynamics for the period 2007–2021 is presented. An analysis of the epidemic situation in this nosology in the Russian Federation has been carried out. From 2010 to 2021, there was an increase in the incidence of botulism. In the Central Federal District (including Moscow and the Moscow Region) in 2009, there was a sharp increase in registered cases of botulism infections. The article uses the data from the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Moscow, the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for Moscow and the Moscow Region, and the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
