Abstract
The results of the work of the endoscopy service of the pulmonary hospital after the closure of the coronavirus hospital on its basis were analyzed. Due to the difficulties of timely diagnosis, the hospitalization of patients with the novel coronavirus infection COVID-19 to the pulmonary hospital under the guise of community-acquired pneumonia has become possible in the new reality. Of 1,903 endoscopic examina tions (100.000 %) during the period, 17 endoscopic examinations (0.894 %) were performed in patients with delayed diagnosis. It is recommended to include these cases in the epidemic risk register. It has been stated that this issue really exists and is awaiting legal regulation.
