Abstract

Objective To investigate the epidemic distribution and diversity of deep fungi infec-tions in order to provide help to clinics. Methods A retrospective study was made to analyse the cultiva-tion and inoculation of the ease histories of out - patients clinic and hospitalized patients from 2004 to 2007. Results Totally 16 652 strains with 1 225 strains of deep fungi were cultivanted, and the infec-tion rate was 7.36% (1 225/16 652). Among them Candida albicans, Torulopsis glabrata, Candida tropi-calis, Candida krusei and Aspergillus fumigatus were 53.53%, 10.61% ,9.88% ,6.94% and 9.47%respectively. The major clinic diseases of deep fungi infection were from respiratory, malignant tumor,malignant hematologic disease and gynecological disease with 32.00%, 15.02%, 10.53%, and 9.22%respectively. Conclusions The main deep fungi infections are distributed over the respiratory apparatus,malignant tumor, malignant hematologic disease and gynecological disease. The infection rate of Blasto-myces albicans is lower, but the Torulopsis glabrata and Candida krusei go up year by year. The infection rate of Aspergillus fumigatus has the tendency to rise.
