Introduction: The purpose of this study was to assess the prevalence of cerebral and cardiovascular risk markers, specifically abnormal Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT), small arterial stiffness (C2), and Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC), in asymptomatic obese subjects (sbjs) and its relevance to Epicardial Fat Volume (EFV) and gender.
