Among carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule (CEACAM) family proteins, CEACAM6, which consists of one variable-like N domain and two constant type 2-like immunoglobulin domains, is known to inhibit anoikis, but its presence and role in lung cancer are largely unknown.
