Abstract

Cardiac toxicities after radiation therapy (RT) in lung cancer patients (pts) have been increasingly recognized as an important factor in clinical outcomes. Here we investigated the impact of radiation doses to the heart and cardiac substructures (left atrium (LA), left ventricle (LV), right atrium (RA) and right ventricle (RV)) on the incidence of cardiac events following completion of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT).
