Abstract

Patients with lung cancer face unique challenges in managing their care, and interventions aimed at improving access to timely diagnosis and treatment are urgently needed. Patient navigation programs have been developed to address barriers to care (e.g., financial, logistical, and communication) across the cancer care continuum. We aimed to evaluate a patient navigation program to identify and address barriers to lung cancer care at the time of diagnosis in a university-based system serving a diverse population.
