Abstract
RATIONALE: Primary eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGID) are defined by eosinophil-rich GI tract inflammation in the absence of malignancy, parasitic infection, or collagen vascular disease. An estimated 75% of patients with EGID have atopic conditions. Here we report a case of eosinophilic esophagogastritis in a child with a history of atopy and recurrent abdominal pain.
