Abstract

The reaccreditation of each study program should be accompanied by innovations and enrichment of the content of teaching subjects in accordance with the changes that occur over time. Experience in the implementation of programs at other faculties is of great importance for the introduction of changes in the study program. For this reason, we wanted to perform a comparative analysis of the syllabus of the Preschool Pedagogy course in the study programs of the basic studies of pedagogy at the Philosophical Faculties in Niš, Belgrade, Novi Sad and Kosovska Mitrovica. The descriptive method and content analysis technique were used in the paper. The aim of the paper is to examine the similarities and differences between the syllabus for the study subject Preschool Pedagogy at the basic academic studies of pedagogy at the mentioned faculties. The study, analysis and comparison of the characteristics of the Preschool Pedagogy syllabus was carried out on the basis of the following units of analysis: subject content, number of hours of lectures and exercises, year of study and semester, subject status, literature and number of ESPB points. The results of the research showed that there are differences in the examined areas. In the field of subject content, there are the fewest differences, while the existence of the most differences is proven in the field of used literature.
