Abstract
Primary and secondary alcohols were successfully oxidized to the corresponding aldehydes and ketones in good yields, respectively, with poly[4-(diacetoxyiodo)styrene] (PSDIB) in the presence of TEMPO (cat.) in acetone, asan environment-friendly method.
