Abstract

It is shown that a modern highly automated technological process as die casting is not an exception among the technological processes used in foundry production and requiring the solution of environmental problems. An environmentally friendly die casting method of aluminum alloys is considered, which ensures the reduction of harmful emissions into the environment by lubricating the working surfaces of the tooling at the closed position of the mould at the initial stage of pressing the melt into its moulding cavity.
