Abstract

We consider the environmental stochasticity of the Gompertz model with time delay when the parameters are assumed to be described by correlated Gaussian white noise processes. The delay kernel is assumed to be exponentially decaying and the Fokker-Planck equation is obtained in both the Stratonovich and Ito calculi. The exact expressions for the first and second order moments of the logarithm of population size are evaluated and the stability of the system in mean as well as In mean-square is discussed.
