The paper explores pathways for environmental social work activities engagement by Zimbabwean social workers. This is within in the broader global South context for outcomes of contributing to global social impact, for evolvement of more pro-environment social work methods. The paper argues for environmental justice and natural resource governance oriented Zimbabwean indigenous social work practice. The paper recommends social workers’ active advocacy for solidarity and social economy through natural resource governance and environmental justice involvement .The Systems and Person in Environment Theoretical Framework are basis for social workers’ environmental issues involvement when dealing with clients’ (individual, group and community) problems.
