Abstract

At this article was proposed chlorine’s amperometric sensor and microgenerator with parts made of catalytic nanostructured electrode materials. This sensor unit allows to provide measurement in the extended range of chlorine concentrations (0 – 500 mg∙m-3) using diffusion resistance made of polymer materials. The sensor’s test was carried out at different number of diffusion channels and impulse microgenerator’s operations mode. Metrological characteristics of the sensor which depends on permeability of the diffusion resistance and current value of microgenerator were determined. Calibration system of the output signal for the diffusion operation sensor’s mode were developed. Microgenerator’s system with using of matrix electrolyte of LiCl and working electrode of porous RuO2 was proposed. Developed sensor block is used by NPF “Orion’’ as primary transducer of the sensor for the detection of chlorine accidental emissions on several industrial enterprises of Ukraine, Belarus, Estonia and France.
