Abstract
I. INTRODUCTION The purpose of this presentation is to give some feeling to the plastic user of some of the considerations which must be given to environment health and safety in material selection in the light of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Obviously, the most hazardous materials will require more controls, adding expenses to production which must be added into the costs of production.
