Abstract

This paper is the culmination of a period of studying and participating in certain real project on environmental design with real-time simulation system application. The focus of this paper is understanding that a generally real-time simulation system can render a complex scene that consisted a huge landscape model with millions of polygons and building models with thousands of details. It is also more than just a collection of unorganized techniques. This paper must deal with issues of scene elements management as a front end that efficiently provide the ability to process complex and moving objects in a physically realistic way. We establish a platform providing good support for the environmental designers.
