Abstract
It is suggested that environmental and social psychology, while currently different in methodology and orientation, need not be. Lewin's B = f(P,E) is discussed, and it is suggested that environmental psycholo gy is really the next logical step in broadening the perspective of psychol ogy as it moves outward from the individual to the social environment to the physical environment.
