Abstract

Introduction COVID-19 is a severe disease and its causative agent is a virus, originated from new coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2). Its symptom ranges from mild to severe, and generally includes fever, cough and respiratory suffering. Material And Method The review study was carried out in DMIMSU, with the base of the material accessed online and few studies conducted recently. Result The finding accessed showed India is lagging behind in the race of COVID-19, when compared to global population. Demographic factor, environmental factor and the steps taken by central government has somehow made great contribution in controlling infection caused by COVID-19 Conclusion We intensely feel that various biological and environmental factors have also contributed significantly to this process, which may result in COVID-19 in India behaving more mildly in contrast to its global effects. The careful analysis of such biological factors will certainly open new avenues to combat outbreaks of novel viruses, through research on cross-immunity, immuno-modulation and perhaps lifestyle management and dietary manipulations, and most importantly random tests of unlimited numbers must be carried out vigorously in aiding positive step to fight with pandemic effect of COVID-19.
